Colman’s Pet Foods is a small family run business in Norfolk established in 2016 by husband and wife team, Amy and Mark Colman.

Amy has been working in the retail pet industry for over 20 years. She says “Over time I’ve been carefully listening to my customers explain the varied health problems with their dogs. Whether it be itchy skin, delicate tummies, hyperactivity etc. Many have explained how they’ve spent small fortunes at the vets trying to sort such problems. A lot of the time it really does come down to the dogs diet.”

So Amy and Mark began their quest into developing their own brand dog food. Recipes that would be perfect for dogs with sensitive skin, stomachs or any type of grain intolerance. They began meticulously trawling through all the different natural ingredients that could go into a quality food. Amy explains ” We feel it’s very important to know and understand the ingredients and what impact those ingredients have on dogs. The problem with most commercially produced dog foods is they contain too much of the wrong sort of ingredients and not enough of the right sort.”

After much intense research, Amy and Mark were very proud to have formulated a high end dog food. A food which is both affordable and grain free with help from the country’s leading nutritionalists.
